Grant Description
In 2013, the Chinese Government and the Government of Senegal signed a grant agreement worth 400,000,000 CFA francs for the Solar Street Lighting Demonstration Project.
This project involved the installation of 80 double-armed solar street lights in the city of Dakar — near the National Assembly, National Road No. 1, the Grand Mosque of Dakar, and the Cathedral of Dakar.
