Grant Description

On November 23, 2006, the People's Bank of China signed a $1 million (550 million CFA francs) grant (‘technical cooperation’) agreement with the Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement (BOAD or West African Development Bank).

The funds were to be used to support Chinese technical assistants working with the BOAD, as well as for investment projects, study visits, and business studies. It is not clear whether or when this project was implemented.
