Grant Description
On November 17, 2016, during Xi Jinping's visit to Ecuador, representatives of the governments of China and Ecuador signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) that granted 500 million RMB for post-earthquake relief and reconstruction.
Of this grant, 346 million RMB were committed to be used for the reconstruction of hospital Napoleón Dávila Córdova de Chone (援厄瓜多尔乔内医院 in Chinese) with 120 beds, captured in Record ID#59270. This was established in Letters of Exchange signed and countersigned October 11, 2017.
