Grant Description

On December 18, 2006, Ethiopian Minister of Finance and Economic Development Soufian Ahamad signed an agreement for a 23 million ETB grant from China to be used for various development projects in Ethiopia. The status of the grant and projects is uncertain. This may be part of a $2 billion sum of Chinese assistance between 2002 and 2007.
