Grant Description

On January 26, 2018, China awarded scholarships to 5 students at the Caribbean Maritime University. The total value of the scholarship package was estimated at J$1 million. Each student will receive J$200,000.

The scholarship donation was made as a reciprocal gesture after Jamaica awarded 10 Chinese students scholarships in 2017.
