Grant Description

On August 16, 2017, the Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC Wang Yang, who represents the Chinese Government and the Government of Nepal signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 1 billion RMB of grant funding for the reconstruction of Kodari Highway and construction of a bridge in Rasuwa.

This project also involves the establishment of hydropower projects and transmission lines for connectivity.
