Grant Description

China provides Togo with 30 million RMB interest-free loan through 2012 ETCA On December 27th, 2012, the Chinese Ambassador to Togo, Wang Zuofeng, and the Togolese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration, Eliot Ohin, signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with Togo for a grant and interest-free loan totaling 160 million Yuan RMB.

The agreement is made up of an interest-free loan of 30 million RMB and a grant of 130 million RMB (see Record ID#71708).

The Republic of Togo reported that grant and loan will be used for infrastructure projects that have been agreed to by both countries, although the exact projects were not specified.
