Grant Description

On 18 December 2014, China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) donated two motor vehicles, a Toyota Hiace bus and a Toyota pickup, to the Jamaican Police Force (JCF).

The two vehicles will increase the JCF's capacity to provide traffic management and security along the North/South leg of Highway 2000.

At the donation ceremony, the Minister of National Security, Peter Bunting, said the vehicles were the first of six being provided by CHEC. However, there are no sources confirming if the other four vehicles were ever donated.
