Grant Description

Following the "Beautiful Rwanda, Beautiful China" forum sponsored by the State Council Information Office of China on July 5, 2018, the "Brightness in Books" Rwandan education assistance initiative was announced.

On July 6, 2018, this initiative, supported by the Chinese Embassy, the Government of Rwanda, Rwanda's Ministry of Education, SCIO, and China International Publishing Group, donated school bags, school supplies, and solar lamps to Rwandan schools. This donation will benefit over 2,000 students. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
