Grant Description
In 2018, the Chinese Government provided training to 304 Basotho individuals from the public and private sectors.
On November 29, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho hosted the 2018 Symposium on the China-aid Human Resource Development Cooperation Program (Chinese: 2018中国援助人力资源开发合作计划研讨会), where some of the trainees attended. The trainees included two ministers, Chief Thesele Maseribane (Communications) and Nkaku Kabi (Health).
Trainings included work on hospitality, nursing, tourism, information technology, textiles, wool and mohair technologies, agriculture, finance, mining, small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The 2017 trainees are captured by Record ID#56176 and the 2019 trainees are captured by Record ID#88064.
