Between June 27-29, 2018, the Chinese Embassy (umbrella Record ID#62617) awarded 80 students from Oshekasheka Combined School and 6 other schools in Omusati, Oshana, and Ohangwena provinces with Chinese Ambassador Scholarships to support their outstanding academic careers.

Monetary and material donations were supplied by overseas Chinese in the North, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
