Grant Description

The Chinese National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine established the China-Montenegro Traditional Chinese Medicine Center in June 2017.

The center, located in Podgorica, was co-operated by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ministry of Health of Montenegro.

The Montenegro Branch of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was also involved.

Montenegro's soil and climate were ecologically well-suited for the cultivation and processing of Chinese herbal medicines. Montenegro was the second European country to establish a traditional Chinese medicine center. The center was unveiled on June 21, 2017.
