[Umbrella] Chinese Government provides loans for the White Nile Grid Project In 2006, the Chinese Government agreed to finance the White Nile Grid Project via multiple loans.

The White Nile Grid Project involved the construction of multiple 220 KV transmission lines between Er Roseires, Rank (Renk), Rabak, Khartoum, and El Obied.

The known sub-projects are as follows: 1) Record ID#150 captures an $81 million USD seller's credit for 340 km Rabak-El-Obeid Transmission Line Construction Project. 2) Record ID#55960 captures an unspecified loan for the Third Circuit Er Roseires-Khartoum Electricity Transmission Project.
