China Eximbank agrees -- at least in principle -- to provide $328 million loan for Barakat Hospital Project In 2017, China Eximbank agreed to provide a $328 million loan for the Barakat Hospital Project.

The purpose of this project is to construct a 700-bed hospital in District 22 (منطقه ۲۲ شهر تهران) within the city of Tehran. However, AidData has not identified any evidence that this project reached implementation.
