Grant Description

CDB and China Eximbank provide a $2 billion USD line of credit to the Iranian Health Ministry for the construction of five hospitals On December 18, 2017, China Development Bank and the Export-Import Bank of China signed a $2 billion USD line of credit agreement and construction contract with Iran's Ministry of Health for the construction of five hospitals: two 1,000-bed hospitals for Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran, a 1,000-bed hospital for Iran’s University of Medical Sciences, a 330-bed hospital, and a 540-bed hospital for Iran’s University of Medical Sciences.
