Grant Description

China Eximbank extends $300 million USD line of credit to Belarus Bank for on-lending On June 6, 2018, China Eximbank and Belarus Bank signed a framework agreement for a credit line worth $300 million USD. The loans will be disbursed (on-lended) through new different contracts for projects of interest.

These projects, however, must be approved by China Eximbank.

The credit line will be open for three years and will have a rate a 6-month Euribor (in June 2018, 6M EURIBOR was -0.269%) + 5% = 4.731% if the Republic of Belarus acting as the guarantor; however, if the Republic of Belarus does not act as a guarantor, then rates will be higher.
