On April 8, 2015, the Chinese Government donated two FAW HongQi L5 (“Red Banner”) grand vehicles to the Government of Belarus ahead of its Minsk Victory Day Parade.

First released in 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show, the L5 is renowned for currently being the most expensive Chinese-made car ever available for purchase. Each vehicle reportedly costs RMB 5 million ($800,000 or £580,000).
