Grant Description
On October 14, 2016, when Xi Jinping paid an official visit to Cambodia, the two sides signed an agreement on economic and technical cooperation (ETCA) committing to provide grant aid in the amount of 1200 million RMB for three projects: Cambodia-China Friendship Medical Building (captured in #65138), Thong Kmonm Provincial Hospital (captured in #65143), and Institute of Water Resource ("China's Maritime Silk Road Initiative and Southeast Asia: Dilemmas, Doubts, and Determination" p.179).
Staff Comments
RMB 550,000,000 went to the Cambodia-China Friendship Medical Building Project, and RMB 273,188,548 went to the Cambodia-China Friendship Tboung Khmum Hospital, but remaining aid amounts for other subsidiary projects are unknown.
