Grant Description

China Development Bank provides $100 million loan for Angola SMEs During then Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping's visit to Angola in November 2010, China Development Bank (CDB) reportedly pledged to loan the Angola's Africa Development Bank $100 million to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

It is unclear whether CDB ever signed a final financing agreement. All other project details are unknown.

During the same official visit, CDB also pledged to loan $400 million to for food security and urban planning (see Record ID#66803).
