Grant Description

China Development Bank provides a $400 million loan for food security and urban planning in Angola During then Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping's visit to Angola in November 2010, China Development Bank (CDB) reportedly pledged to loan the Angola Ministry of Finance $400 million for food security and urban planning projects.

It is unclear whether CDB ever signed a final financing agreement. All other project details are unknown.

During the same official visit, CDB also pledged to loan $100 million to Angola's Africa Development Bank for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) (see Record ID#66804).
