Grant Description

On January 27, 2015, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ukraine signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 50 million of grant funding for health, education, and emergency response projects.

The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Ihor Veremii, and the Ambassador from China in Ukraine, Zhang Xiyun. The allocation of the funds was to be be agreed upon at a later date by the two countries. However, it is unclear if or when this grant was utilized.
