Grant Description

On November 14, 2013, the Chinese Government and the Government of Moldova signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which committed RMB 20 million of grant funding to be allocated by the parties at a later date.

The funding was to be provided through a bank account that China Development Bank would establish with the Bank of Economy of the Government of Moldova. This grant agreement was then ‘approved’ by the Moldovan Government on January 15, 2014. It is unclear whether or when the proceeds from this grant were utilized.
