Grant Description

China loans 1.586 billion CFA to Cote d'Ivoire under a 2012 Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement On 3 January 2012, during an official visit to Abidjan, the Chinese Foreign Minister's (Yang Jiechi or 杨洁篪) and his Ivorian counterpart signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) in which China provided an interest-free loan worth 1.586 billion CFA (20 million RMB).

How this money was spent is unknown. The other ETCA signed during the visit is captured in Record ID#70538.
