Grant Description

On 1 September 2008, the Chinese Ambassador signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) granting 400 million RMB (26 billion CFA) to the Government of Cote d'Ivoire for unspecified projects. It is unclear whether these funds were ever disbursed.

At the same meeting, the Chinese Ambassador also signed a 2 million RMB (130 million CFA) interest-free loan agreement (ETCA #70529).

The two officials signed three letters of exchange that day: (1) a mission to rehabilitate the ministerial bloc (#30583), (2) construction of the malaria control center (#718), and (3) donation of anti-malarial drugs worth 2 million RMB (130 million CFA) (#717).
