Grant Description

In April 2011, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the construction of the China-Ukraine Agricultural Cooperation Park.

In August 2011, the first meeting of the Agricultural Cooperation Subcommittee of the China-Ukraine Cooperation Committee was held in China. The nature and monetary value of the Chinese government financing for this project is unknown.

The purpose of the project was to support the purchase of pesticides, seeds, agricultural machinery and other necessary agricultural products from China to Ukraine; promote high-quality Ukrainian agricultural products to China), and facilitate the implementation of EPC contracts (for the construction of pesticide plants and organic fertilizer processing plants, among things), and support the implementation of investment projects in Ukraine (such as land cultivation and planting and other projects).

Construction was carried out by Henan Huangfan District Industrial Group Co., Ltd, a Chinese company based in Henan Province. On April 26, 2016, the park opened.
