Grant Description

In 2016, the Chinese Government issued an RMB 10 million (EUR 1,843,137) to the Government of Albania for the provision of equipment to rehabilitate the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet and Folkloric Ensemble (Teatri Kombëtar i Operas dhe Baletit) in the capital city of Tirana.

According to official data that Albania’s Donor Technical Secretariat shared with AidData in February 2018, the project commenced on April 15, 2016, and reached completion on December 30, 2018. The recipient of the grant was the Albanian Ministry of Culture.
