Grant Description

In 2016, China Southern Power Grid launched a funding project for 110 college students from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia study in China until 2025. Part of the aim is to train the next generation of electrical technicians and civil engineers.

In 2017, around 10 students from Cambodia began a master's degree at Guangxi University ("Power giant powers Belt and Road expansion in Southeast Asia").

By 2019, there were 60 students funded by the project studying in Kunming University of Science and Technology. ("老挝能矿部人事司司长一行访问昆明理工大学")
