Grant Description

Lesotho - HEALTH SECTOR PROJECT - Health Care Centers Infrastructure Activity: This Project activity focuses on renovation and rehabilitation of up to 150 health centers, to bring the national stock of health centers up to a common standard.

MCC Funding will support the following: (i) the design and construction supervision for up to 150 health centers; (ii) the rehabilitation and/or construction of these health centers; (iii) preparation of environmental "Project Briefs"; (iv) implementation of environmental and social mitigation measures; (v) power, water, telecommunications equipment as needed to reach MoHSW standards for these health centers; and (vi) medical equipment and instruments and clinical furniture as required to meet MoHSW clinic standards.
