Grant Description

In 2009, the Chinese government signed a MoU for Xeset 4 Hydropower Project in Champasak, Laos. The government of China is the financier. ("2010 EDL Generation Public Company Bond Prospectus", pdf p.22). According to "Prospectus Dated 20 June 2012", Electricite du Laos (EDL) owned the project. The planned construction period for the project is 2009-2015.

The EDL offtake capacity is 10MW and the annual energy is 40 GWh p.a.
