Grant Description
On April 4, 2018, China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges handed over $3.867 million worth of equipment from Xuzhou Construction Machinery Co Ltd (XCMG or 徐工集团) to the Government of Azerbaijan for the Baku International Sea Trade Port Assistance Project. This project involved the provision of 34 pieces of heavy equipment to the Baku International Sea Trade Port.
The equipment includes 16 forklifts with carrying capacity from 1.5 to 20 tons, two 45-ton telescopic container loaders, three 30-ton trailers for tractors, one 220-ton crane and other equipment.
In addition to the equipment, XCMG dispatched a six member team to Azerbaijan for a 30-day training and support (captured via Record ID#73213).

Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
