Grant Description

During the visit of Chinese State Councilor Wang Yong to Jordan from May 23rd to May 26th, 2016, China granted RMB 70,000,000 Yuan in aid to the Jordanian Government for resettling Syrian refugees.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Jordan, the two countries signed a China-Jordan Economic Technical Cooperation Agreement (经济合作协定) (ETCA) providing the RMB 70,000,000 in financing from a RMB 330,000,000 Yuan fund China set aside as aid for countries in the region of the Syrian humanitarian crisis.
