Grant Description

On May 13, 2004, the Government of Nauru received a $1 million USD grant from the Chinese Government for unspecified purposes.

In January 2005, the Public Accounts Committee of the Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia was "seeking information concerning the disbursement of these funds" and asked Micronesia's Treasury "to reconcile the various payments issued by the government using these funds".
