On April 28, 2017, the Chinese Government forgave RMB 5,848,000 of the Government of Bolivia’s outstanding debt obligations under a previous interest-free loan (worth RMB 14,620,000) that it contracted in 2004 for the 4.3 km Buenos Aires Avenue Asphalting Project (see Record ID#54826).

The Government of Bolivia had already repaid RMB 8,772,000 from this interest-free loan, and the Chinese Government forgave the outstanding balance of the loan (RMB 5,848,000).
