Grant Description

On August 29, 2019, the Chinese Ambassador to Palestine signed an agreement to grant 15 million USD to Palestine for over a dozen projects in different fields in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. These sectors include infrastructure, youth and entrepreneurship, women in development, and energy.

As part of the agreement, $500,000 was to be allocated for the purchase and delivery of between 15,000 and 20,000 school bags for Palestinian children. This is captured in linked Record ID#64884.
