Grant Description

Based on the news release from the China Daily, during the visit of Jia Qinglin to Myanmar (2 to 5 April 2011), China agreed to set aside 30 million yuan over the next three years to support economic and technical cooperation between the two sides. It is likely that the project is under the Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement signed during the visit.

However, it is unknown whether it is in the form of a loan or grant.
