Grant Description
On 19 March 2012, China signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with Antigua and Barbuda that provided 30 million RMB for unspecified development projects. It is unclear if this was a grant or concessional loan. This is one of four agreements signed on the same date. It is one of two ETCAs, and two sets of Letters of Exchange were additionally signed at the meeting.
The other ETCA was for the Five Islands Secondary School project (see Record ID#40702), which also provided 30 million RMB, and one of the Letters of Exchange were regarding the maintenance of the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium (see Record ID#39786). The contents of the fourth agreement mentioned are unknown.

The Inter-American Dialogue source notes almost 10.5 million USD were provided during the meeting. The projects' values in USD are as follows: about 4.75 million USD (#40702) + 1.01 million USD (#39786) + 4.75 million USD (this project) = 10.51 million USD.
