Grant Description

CDB pledges RMB 1.5 billion loan to Kasikorn Bank for on-lending purposes On December 22, 2011, China Development Bank (CDB) and Kasikorn Bank signed a memorandum of understanding according to the release from the Embassy of China at Thailand, China Daily, and the Nation Thailand. Under this memo, the CDB would provide a loan of RMB 1.5 billion to KBank’s Shenzhen Branch for on-lending purposes.

An equivalent amount will be granted to the CDB by KBank to support their business expansion into Thailand.

Kasikorn Bank is also known as Kasikornbank Pcl, ธนาคารกสิกรไทย in Thai, and 开泰银行 in Chinese.
