Grant Description

Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund supports establishment of Mekong River Research Center in Laos In March 2016, the Chinese Government launched the Global Mekong River Research Center (Laos Center) (or 全球湄公河研究中心（老挝中心)). On June 6, 2018, the inauguration ceremony for the project was held.

This project was funded by a loan of an unknown value from the Lancang Mekong Cooperation Special Fund (see Umbrella Record ID#68768).
