Grant Description
On November 9th, 2018, the Chinese Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of Vanuatu. The MoU is for the Promotion of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The two sides will strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, infrastructure construction, transportation, communications, culture, education and health in the "Belt and Road" framework to achieve common development.
During Prime Minister Salvi's visit to China on May 25th, 2018, the two sides signed a cooperation plan on the basis of this MOU signed in 2018.
