Grant Description
On February 20, 2006, the Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, Li Jinjun, confirmed the donation of USD $750,000 worth of emergency material assistance for rehabilitation efforts in Southern Leyte.
The donation was in response to the severe landslide that occurred in Southern Leyte on February 17, and was part of the USD $1 million donated by the Chinese government in response to this disaster.
