Grant Description

Conserve critical habitats within the Touchwood Hills/Conjuring Creek Landscape of the Canadian Prairie Pothole Region to provide long-term benefits to a diversity of species impacted by the BP Oil Spill.

Specifically, project activities will include securement of 1,351 acres (217 wetland and 1,134 upland) by fee acquisition and conservation easements will affect 1,122 acres (180 wetland and 942 upland). Enhancement actions will impact 1,278 acres (15 wetland and 1,263 upland).
