Grant Description

On August 31, 2007, China and Fiji signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA).

According to the agreement, the Chinese government is going to provide a USD 2.6 million aid-in-kind grant for projects that are agreed by both governments.

In 2009, RMB 8 million of the grant was used to finance the construction of the Government House and Thurston Garden fencing project (linked to Record ID#64742).
