Grant Description
On April 10, 2018, the Chinese Government signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) providing an RMB 500 million grant (approximately USD 79 million or PHP 4.13 billion) to the Philippines Ministry of Finance for multiple projects.
The known sub-projects are as follows: 1) RMB 264.8 million for the Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge Expansion and Reconstruction Project (see Record ID#64984) and Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Construction Project (see Record ID#64983) 2) RMB 25.83 million for a feasibility study for the Davao City Expressway Project (see Record ID#63651) 3) RMB 17.82 million for the purchasing radio and broadcasting equipment for the Presidential Communications Operations Office (see Record ID#63843) 4) RMB 27.52 million for Phase III of the Philippine-Sino Center for Agricultural Technology-Technical Cooperation Program (see Record ID#63874).
These four projects amount to RMB 335.97 million, with the remaining RMB 164.03 million unallocated.
