Grant Description

On May 10, 2016, a handover ceremony was held between the Chinese Ambassador, Liu Quan, and the Vanuatu Prime Minister, Charlot Salwai, for the donation of table tennis materials (or 援瓦乒乓球训练物资交接).

The ceremony was also attended by the head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Chen Yuhua, and comes after the Vanuatu table tennis team, led by a Chinese coach, succeeded in qualifying for the 2016 Brazil Olympic Games.
