CDB provides RMB 457,390,000 loan for Battambang Conch Cement Plant Project On June 23, 2017, Bank of China Jinbian Branch issued an RMB 130,690,000 ($20 million) to Battambang Conch Cement Co., Ltd for the Battambang Conch Cement Plant Project. This loan, which is captured in linked Record ID#62464, had a 1-year maturity.

Then, on August 28, 2017, China Development Bank also issued an RMB 457,390,000 loan with a 10-year maturity for the same project (as captured in this project).

Anhui Conch Cement Company, the parent company of Battambang Conch Cement Co., Ltd — a a joint venture between Chinese firm Conch International Holdings (HK) and Cambodian cement company Battambang KT Cement Co., Ltd — provided a guarantee for these loans. The construction of the cement plant in Ratanak Mondol district and Battambang Province was completed on June 1, 2018.

It has the capacity to produce 5,000 tons of cement per day.
