Grant Description

Human killing and livestock depredation by tigers in land adjacent to Chitwan National Park, Nepal, hyas increased dramatically in recent years in response to habitat restoration.

This project seeks to reduce this human tiger conflict through improved understanding of tigers living in this environment, and by engaging buffer zone user groups to participate in patrolling and monitoring activities with protected area staff.
