Grant Description

On November 8, 2018, representatives from the governments of China and Algeria signed a new Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement in Algiers. The agreement included a 200 million RMB grant to help finance joint projects which have not been specified.

The agreement was signed by the Chinese Ambassador to Algeria, Yang Guangyu, and the Algerian Foreign Minister, Noureddine Ayadi. The specific projects funded by this ETCA are unknown.
