On August 15, 2014, the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan signed an exchange of letters pledging that China would provide CNY 20 million in humanitarian supplies to South Sudan.
The exact supplies to be donated were not specified, but it is possible that these funds went to the donation of 3800 tons of rice handed over on August 28, 2014 (recorded in Record ID#59060).
In the same meeting, the Ambassador also pledged to donate CNY 10 million in medical supplies to South Sudan (recorded in #41903). Implementation details for the project and its current status are unknown.
AidData coded this as an umbrella project because it is not totally clear which donations are covered by this, and it is possible that it includes multiple donations.
