Grant Description
China provides RMB 70 million interest-free loan - through April 2010 ETCA - to Gabon On April 21, 2010, the governments of China and Gabon signed an Economic and Technical Agreement (ETCA) for an RMB 70 million interest-free loan. This loan was to be used for projects agreed on by both governments.
The ETCA was signed by Vice Minister Fu Ziying and Gabon's Minister of Foreign Affairs Paul Toungui. The current status of this project is unknown. This project is a subsidiary project of the umbrella Record ID#30116.

Since loan terms for the interest-free loan are unavailable, AidData has set maturity period to 20-years by default and grace period to 10-years by default per China's Foreign Assistance White Paper (http://www.cidca.gov.cn/2018-08/06/c_129925064_3.htm) which states that the maturity period of interest-free loans is 20-years, with a drawdown period of 5-years, grace period of 5-years, and repayment over 10-years.
