Grant Description

On September 24th and October 3rd of 2008, the Chinese and Zanzibar Governments exchanged letters for the 9th phase of Zanzibar Radio Station Technical Cooperation, of which states that China would continue its support for the Zanzibar Radio Station (桑给巴尔兰哥尼广播).

The Chinese government in 1986 helped construct the Zanzibar radio transmitter, with 2 50kW short-wave radio transmitters.

Technical cooperation aided by China started in 1992, and in 2018, the 13th phase of technical cooperation was carried out (#60232).
